   1. Playfair Display is a VARIABLE font. Google serves one file per subset covering the whole weight
      axis and then emits three @font-face blocks pointing at that same file, each pinned to a discrete
      weight. That is reproduced exactly here (one file, three blocks at 400/600/700) rather than
      collapsed into a single `font-weight: 400 700` range, because the range is not equivalent: with
      discrete blocks, CSS asking for weight 500 — which site.css does, on .navbar .nav-link — matches
      down to the 400 instance, while a range would render true 500 and change how the nav looks. Lato
      is a static family, so its three faces really are three files.

   2. Only the `latin` and `latin-ext` subsets are kept, of the four Google offers (cyrillic and
      vietnamese are dropped). latin-ext is not optional despite lang="en": it carries the accented
      glyphs in therapist names. The unicode-range declarations are Google's own, verbatim, which is
      what keeps a browser downloading only the subset a page actually needs.
